This time, The Summer’Singers is going over to HELP College University! We will be having a music sharing recital at HELP College this coming Friday.

Venue: KA-A1, Block A, HELP College University

Date: Friday, 26/11/2010

Time: 8.00pm

The Summer’Singers are going to perform a full-fledge A Cappella Concert. We are going to bring mainly POP and JAZZ music to everyone, defying the common expectations from the audience group of chorus music. In addition, we are also preparing some christmas songs to bring out X’mas heat.

2010/11 Xiao Ma & Moon’s Wedding

It was by chance that we were interviewed in FM988 DJ Moon’s A Cappella program late last year (he interview was posted in Youtube. Please click and listen to it!), and this year, we were being invited…

6th November, a date to be remembered… it was D-Day for Malaysia FM988 DJ Xiao Ma and Moon, and we, The Summer’Singers were fortunate enough to be invited as guest performers on their wedding night at Kota Damansara.

Instead of traditionally having music played while the couple marched in the aisle, we sang wedding march to welcome them.  Towards the end of the performance, FM988 DJ Moon suddenly surprised her lifetime partner with a song <Can you feel the love tonight>with The Summer’Singers as the backup singers. The lovely voice of hers stirred the excitement from all the photographers and guests.

Touched by the sincerity, FM988 DJXiaoMa in return spontaneously sang  <月亮代表我的心> and was by request backed up by The Summer’Singers with A Cappella accompaniment. It was such a beautiful and heart moving moment, that put a smile on everyone’s face.
