Vocal Coach/Tenor -”The Music Soul”

LOW KOK YAU

    Mr. Low graduated from National Chengchi University Taiwan in International Trade. He also has a major in Vocal from Chinese Culture University Taipei. His mentors during then were Professor Chen Zhen Mei, Professor Xin Yung Xiu and Professor Zhang Qing Lang.

    He started his vocal training since teenage with Coloratura Soprano Florence Pong, and learnt music theories from composer Mr. Goh Guan Leong.

    He was awarded the grand champion in Malaysia- Singapore Singing Competition, and champion for the Malaysia Folk Song Solo Singing Competition. In addition to that, he represented Malaysia to perform at North Korea Art Festival in 1994. He had also been appointed as the president of Kuala Lumpur Vocal Association for 3 consecutive years.

    Contemplating between a performer and an educator, he has set his career path as an educator, where he now provides vocal trainings and actively share and promote his insights, knowledge and experience in vocal music. He hopes to inspire the society with his knowledge in recognizing and analyzing the desired techniques of singing in achieving ideal vocal.

    He, being one of the Malaysia’s famous Tenor vocalists, has invented and designed the “6-in-1 Conformed Vocal Technique System”. He is often invited to many seminars to share this masterpiece nationwide. Under his training, many students of his have become a very outstanding performer.

    Currently he is the mentor of The Summer’Singers, mentor and conductor for Choir of Waitankung and Neitankung Association Malaysia and Taiwan University Alumni Choir.

 

刘国耀

    中学开始，随花腔女高音庞翘辉学习声乐、作曲家许元良学习乐理。后留学台湾国立政治大学商学院国际贸易系毕业。毕业后，再考入台湾中国文化大学音乐系，主修声乐，先后师事陈真美教授、辛永秀教授以及张清朗教授。

     曾获马新艺术歌曲声乐大赛总冠军、全国民歌歌唱大赛总冠军。1994年代表我国出席北朝春季艺术节担任独唱演出。此外，连任三届吉隆坡歌乐协会主席。

     自返马后积极推动歌乐，培养后进。近期积极推广声乐讲座，分享声乐心得，以期能启发爱好歌唱者对发声技巧的优劣有所分辨和探讨。现设计了一套“六合一系统整合声乐技术发声法”。

    曾任马来西亚南大校友会合唱团指挥。现为吉隆坡夏日吟合唱团顾问兼声乐指导、马来西亚中华外内丹功总会合唱团以及马来西亚留台校友会联合总会合唱团指挥。
