About Us

The Summer’Singers, established in August 2000, is an A Cappella focused vocal ensemble consisting 12 young professionals and students all over Malaysia. Over the years we have eventually built up a wide repertoire ranging from classical, spiritual, folk, to modern arrangements. As we do not compromise our pursuit in achieving excellent quality in harmonious vocal, we constantly develop competent repertoires that drives us to deliver quality vocals which is of international standards .

We are currently coached by Malaysia’s well known Tenor vocalist, Mr Low Kok Yau, and conductress Ms.Wong Wai Quan.  To date we have won 1^st prize in Malacca’s Chamber Choir Competition, Pop & Jazz Expo Music Competition, and a consolation prize in the KL Chinese Musical Festival Competition. We have also built our specializations in , Weddings performances, Christmas Carolings, Corporate and private functions, and Vocal Music Workshops.

Among our notable clients are Royal Bank of Scotland, Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang, YTL, Berjaya Times Square, FM988, Malaysian Artist Serene Cheam, Shah Village Hotel, Eu Yan Sang, Prefessor Shen Bingguang, ASEAN International Chopin society and the list goes on.

夏日吟合唱团

夏日吟合唱团成立于2000年8月。初时，由10位热爱合唱音乐的中学合唱团团友组织而成。自2001年，本团邀请刘国耀先生担任本团顾问以及声乐指导。

现今，本团为一支约20人的合唱团。团员多来自我国各地在籍学生，以及各领域的年轻专才。本团以演唱无伴奏合唱为主。曲目范围涵盖自古典音乐、黑人灵歌、民歌至现代音乐。

近年，本团受邀参与各类音乐演出活动，如莫扎特歌剧《女人皆如此》、《吉隆坡歌乐节》、《吉隆坡无伴奏合唱节》、《黄振文音乐作品演唱会》、《沈炳光教授声乐作品专场音乐会》、《马来西亚萧邦协会开放日音乐会》、《马来西亚国际合唱日庆典》等等。

本团曾荣获第一届Pop & Jazz Expo Music比赛公开组冠军，以及吉隆坡歌乐节华语文艺小组歌唱观摩赛之最佳优秀奖。然而，本团仍坚持追求完美的音乐理想，期许以呈现人声合唱之美为目标。
